busy with my new kid
Yo! Checkin' in with an old-fashioned update journal. Just wanted to say that I'm still very much over here (and over on Art Fight!), but the past few days have been super busy irl. And this kid may or may not be the reason! (She is 😉) Her name is Billie (after Billie Eilish o' course, and also because...billie goat? get it? ok i'll stop now), and she's the newest addition to our family! Boy is she a handful! But she's a sweet girl who loves pets and scratches, and loves getting into mischief even more (did i mention she's a handful?)! She's curious and brave and super smart, and she's already made a lot of progress in the three days she's been here! Like I said, she's been keepin' me busy, so as I'm figuring out this new adventure in animal keeping, art may be a little sporadic! Not to mention I'm trying to focus on Art Fight this year 💪 But once I've gotten a good schedule down I should be able to start getting back into some personal art as well (namely AT stuff)! Hello and welcome! This will serve as a hub for all folks interested in creating a citizen for the Cupcake Kingdom (or for having an existing OC become a citizen). Thanks for your interest! Get in, we're going to Discord. In all seriousness though, I managed to be introduced to a really great Discord server after I posted my last journal! The one and only @Ask-Poison-Princess was kind enough to invite me, and...great news! It's open to all folks still interested in the AT fandom! So I thought I'd do my part and share the invite link~ But I wanna tell you a bit more about this great place first. First off, everyone there is super friendly and supportive! I really enjoy the chill vibes there, and it makes it an easy place to hang out and make friends and/or develop your OCs! I'm willing to wager there's someone there you might know from the older community. And if not, there's plenty of new and talented folks to chat with! But speaking of OCs...
